Industrial Designer

About the role

As an Industrial Designer at Twelve Degrees you will create products and experiences that positively impact people’s lives. You will work closely with a diverse team of local designers, conducting research, ideating concepts, and delivering both “looks‑like” and “works‑like” prototypes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop “looks‑like” and “works‑like” prototypes for in‑house testing.
• Translate field and market research into human‑centered, technically feasible design concepts.
• Create detailed CAD models, manufacturing strategies, and renderings for innovative ideas.
• Support branding and commercialization of patented products ready for mass production.
• Produce physical prototypes ranging from rough sketches to fully functional models.

Required profile

• Passionate about meaningful design solutions and self‑motivated.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and willingness to learn.
• Excellent written and verbal presentation abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Photoshop, Illustrator, and 3D CAD tools such as Fusion, SolidWorks, or Rhino.
• Solid fundamentals in 2D/3D sketching, rendering, form development, and model making.
• Experience in CAD modeling and photo‑realistic rendering.
• Understanding of mechanisms, materials, and manufacturing processes.
