Insurance Sales Specialist

About the role

MetLife Jordan is seeking a full‑time Insurance Sales Specialist to join its Amman office. The role focuses on acquiring new clients, presenting insurance solutions, and building lasting relationships while supporting the company’s growth in the Jordanian market.

Key responsibilities

• Identify prospective clients and generate new business opportunities.
• Explain life, health and protection insurance products, tailoring coverage to customer needs and budgets.
• Conduct client meetings, prepare quotations and follow up on leads.
• Manage a sales pipeline to achieve individual and team targets.
• Collaborate with internal teams and brokerage partners on policy applications and renewals.
• Ensure accurate documentation and provide responsive customer service.
• Maintain long‑term client relationships through regular contact and support.

Required profile

• Proven experience in insurance sales with the ability to clearly explain products and close deals responsibly.
• Strong customer‑service orientation, active listening and effective follow‑up.
• Experience in insurance brokerage and health insurance, preferably handling multiple product lines.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship‑building skills.
• Goal‑oriented, able to work with sales targets and prioritize tasks.
• Analytical and problem‑solving abilities to match client needs with appropriate solutions.
• Relevant academic background in Business, Finance, Marketing or related field is preferred.
• Prior experience in insurance or financial services sales and proficiency in English and Arabic are advantageous.
