Internal Financial Auditor – Construction & Manufacturing

About the role

A leading construction and manufacturing company in Jordan is looking for an Internal Financial Auditor to evaluate financial and operational controls, identify risks, and support continuous improvement of business processes.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct internal audits of financial records, transactions, processes, and controls.
• Review accounting and financial procedures for accuracy, compliance, and effectiveness.
• Identify financial, operational, and compliance risks and recommend corrective actions.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and suggest improvements.
• Audit accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, inventory, cash, and other financial activities.
• Perform reconciliations and analytical reviews as needed.
• Prepare detailed audit findings, reports, and recommendations for management.
• Follow up on previously identified audit findings and corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable accounting and regulatory requirements.
• Support investigations into financial discrepancies or irregularities.
• Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and other departments to improve processes and controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–6 years of relevant experience in internal audit, financial audit, or accounting.
• Professional certifications such as CIA, CPA, SOCPA, ACCA, or equivalent are an advantage.
• Experience in construction, manufacturing, contracting, or similar industries is preferred.
