Irrigation Engineer

About the role

Millennium Farms is seeking a qualified and motivated Irrigation Engineer to join our team in Jordan. The role involves operating, monitoring, maintaining, and optimizing irrigation systems to ensure efficient water use and support sustainable agricultural production.

Key responsibilities

• Operate, monitor and maintain pivot and drip irrigation systems.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Monitor system performance and recommend improvements to enhance water‑use efficiency.
• Collaborate with agricultural operations teams to maintain optimal crop performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering, Irrigation Engineering, Water Resources Engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in large‑scale agricultural irrigation.
• Strong problem‑solving, analytical and organizational skills.
• Ability to work onsite and travel between agricultural sites as needed.
