IT Audit Specialist

About the role

ZeeDimension is seeking an Information Technology Auditor to join its banking‑focused practice in Amman. Working in a hybrid model, you will lead IT audit engagements across core banking applications, payment systems, digital channels and supporting infrastructure, ensuring compliance with regulatory and security standards.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute IT audits of core banking systems, internet/mobile banking platforms, payment and SWIFT environments.
• Evaluate IT General Controls such as access management, change management, backup/recovery, SDLC and IT operations.
• Assess cybersecurity controls, vulnerability management, incident response and business continuity arrangements.
• Review compliance with central bank regulations, cybersecurity frameworks and industry standards.
• Conduct risk assessments, document control frameworks, perform testing and prepare audit reports with actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate with business units, information security, technology and risk teams to remediate findings and enhance the control environment.
• Support advisory projects related to IT risk, digital transformation and emerging technology assessments.

Required profile

• Experience in IT audit within the banking or financial services sector.
• Strong understanding of banking regulations, core banking applications, payment systems and digital banking platforms.
• Ability to conduct risk assessments, document processes and communicate findings to senior management.
