IT Governance – Security & Resilience

About the role

We are seeking an experienced IT Governance professional to lead security and resilience initiatives within our bank. You will act as the primary liaison between IT and the Cybersecurity Department, ensuring that all IT operations, projects, and processes meet the highest security standards and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Cybersecurity to implement security policies, standards, and controls across IT infrastructure.
• Ensure compliance with governance frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, COBIT, and banking regulations.
• Translate cybersecurity requirements into effective IT governance processes and operational guidelines.
• Coordinate security and risk assessments for all IT projects and technology changes.
• Manage the IT risk management process, including identification, assessment, monitoring, reporting, and mitigation.
• Monitor the bank’s IT risk posture and drive remediation of vulnerabilities, audit findings, and control gaps.
• Lead IT Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery governance, ensuring documented and tested recovery capabilities.
• Support incident response activities, including escalation, communication, and post‑incident reviews.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Security or related field.
• Proven experience in IT Governance, Information Security, IT Risk Management, IT Audit, or Operational Resilience, preferably in banking or financial services.
• Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder‑management and reporting skills.
• Professional certifications such as CISA, CRISC, CGEIT, CISSP, or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor are a plus.
