Junior Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a meticulous Junior Accountant to join our dynamic Finance team at our Jordan branch. The role involves supporting daily financial operations and ensuring accurate recording of all business transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Post and process journal entries to capture all business transactions.
• Update accounts payable and perform regular reconciliations.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Monitor and reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
• Assist in preparing balance sheets, income statements, and other financial statements in line with legal and company guidelines.
• Prepare and submit weekly/monthly financial reports.
• Support monthly and yearly closing activities.
• Assist internal and external audit processes by preparing schedules and providing required documentation.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience as an accountant.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Knowledge of IAS and IFRS is highly preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in financial tasks.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
