Junior Accountant

About the role

Provide support to the financial department by managing daily accounting. You will work in a fast‑paced, office‑based environment, ensuring accurate financial data and timely processing of transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Post and process journal entries to record all business transactions.
• Update accounts receivable, issue invoices and follow up on collections.
• Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly account reconciliations and fixed‑asset movement reports.
• Issue payments within allocated budgets and review expenses and payroll records as assigned.
• Maintain accurate financial data in databases for immediate availability.
• File all financial documents in the Oracle system.
• Conduct vendor follow‑ups for payments and revenue collection.

Required profile

• BSc/BA in Accounting, Finance or a related field (0‑2 years experience).
• Excellent written and spoken English and Arabic.
• Strong organizational abilities, great attention to detail and analytical acumen.
• Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Experience using Oracle financial system.
