Junior Media Relations Coordinator (Non-Key Expert)

About the role

NTU International is seeking a Junior Media Relations Coordinator to support the communication outreach and engagement project on EU policies across North Africa, the Middle East and the Gulf. The role is part of a short‑term pool of Non‑Key Experts that will be mobilised on demand during the 36‑month project implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning and coordinating press activities such as press trips, briefings and conferences.
• Liaise with journalists, media outlets and communication partners.
• Prepare and distribute press releases, media advisories and press packs.
• Maintain and update media contact databases and distribution lists.
• Coordinate media logistics and accreditation for events.
• Monitor media coverage and help compile press reviews and media reports.
• Support communication teams in executing media outreach initiatives.
• Provide administrative and logistical support for media‑relations activities.

Required profile

• Degree (or equivalent) in journalism, communication or media studies.
• Fluent English; knowledge of French and/or Arabic is an asset.
• Minimum of 2 years general experience in media/press relations.
• At least 1 year of specific experience coordinating press activities.

Required skills

• Strong written and verbal communication in English.
• Proficiency in managing media contact databases.
• Ability to organise press events and handle accreditation processes.
