Knowledge Management Consultant (Remote, 5.5 months)

About the role

UNICEF is seeking a Knowledge Management Consultant to support the transition of its Middle East and North Africa (MENA) regional office into the new ECAMENA structure. The role is remote, based in Amman, and lasts for 5.5 months, focusing on digital workspace migration, repository consolidation, and continuity of knowledge‑management services.

Key responsibilities

• Map, consolidate, and migrate digital workspaces, knowledge repositories, and evidence assets across MENARO and ECARO.
• Establish and document new governance arrangements, processes, and systems to preserve institutional memory.
• Maintain regional knowledge and evidence repositories, including the Knowledge@UNICEF platform and IMEP repository.
• Facilitate knowledge exchange, coordinate communities of practice, and produce knowledge products.
• Support ongoing organizational learning initiatives while ensuring a smooth transition.

Required profile

• Proven experience in knowledge management, digital content migration, or information governance.
• Familiarity with UNICEF’s regional structures and humanitarian programming is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and documentation skills with the ability to work independently.
