KYC Analyst – Background Screening

About the role

The KYC Analyst will support CRI Group’s mission to protect organisations from fraud and corruption by conducting thorough background screening and due‑diligence investigations. You will analyse public records, confidential sources and other data to assess the legitimacy and reputation of companies, principals and individuals.

Key responsibilities

• Gather intelligence from field observation, confidential sources and public records.
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with government agencies that provide public information.
• Collect, assimilate, analyse and evaluate research and investigation results.
• Identify red‑flags such as court cases, sanctions, adverse media, inflated job titles, forged qualifications, etc.
• Write well‑structured, objective reports on the background and reputation of subjects.
• Manage multiple due‑diligence, background‑screening and insurance‑claim investigations through to completion.
• Track progress, ensure timely delivery and produce high‑quality written reports.
• Coordinate follow‑up actions with external stakeholders and support document management.
• Collaborate with international team members and vendors to fulfil scopes of work.
• Adhere to ISO standards, internal policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Media, Journalism, Law, International Relations/Affairs or a related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience, preferably in due‑diligence, research, legal, investigations or risk‑management.
• Ability to visit courts and relevant policy authorities as required.
