Laundry and Kitchen Maintenance Supervisor

About the role

The Laundry and Kitchen Maintenance Supervisor ensures all laundry and kitchen equipment, tools and facilities operate safely and efficiently within a busy hotel environment. You will lead a small team, handle guest repair requests, and support the hotel’s life‑safety systems.

Key responsibilities

• Install, maintain and perform preventative maintenance on laundry, kitchen and other hotel equipment.
• Calibrate controls, gauges, meters and operate shut‑off valves.
• Manage inventory, order parts and maintain purchase‑order logs.
• Conduct life‑safety checks, including fire‑pump and generator run tests, and inspect fire‑sprinkler valves and alarm systems.
• Assist in developing disaster‑response protocols and respond to guest repair requests.
• Support hiring, training, scheduling and performance management of the maintenance team.
• Follow all safety, security and company policies, and maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.

Required profile

• Technical, trade or vocational school degree.
• Minimum 2 years of related maintenance experience.
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Ability to work on‑site, lift up to 50 lb, and perform physical tasks such as bending, twisting and climbing stairs.
