Lead Electrical Engineer

About the role

The Lead Electrical Engineer is responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of electrical systems across all engineering projects. This senior position provides technical leadership, ensures compliance with contractual terms, and represents the engineering discipline in client and third‑party negotiations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support for electrical and instrumentation & control (I&C) activities throughout the investment lifecycle, defining scope, budget, quality, and schedule.
• Support procurement, investment control, and commercial functions related to electrical/I&C engineering.
• Advise headquarters and site teams on contract terms and necessary measures for successful project execution.
• Represent the electrical/I&C discipline in client negotiations and communications with third parties.
• Lead the development and implementation of operational systems that track goals, progress, and obstacles.
• Monitor key performance metrics to ensure efficient and timely task completion.
• Manage stakeholder communication and requirements throughout the project.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in electrical engineering and I&C disciplines.
• Proven ability to lead complex projects and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong understanding of procurement, investment control, and commercial aspects of engineering projects.
• Excellent communication skills for client and third‑party interactions.
