Lead Technologist – AI‑Enabled Software Engineering

About the role

We are seeking a Lead Technologist to drive AI‑enabled software development within Whiteshield’s sovereign intelligence platform. The role combines deep engineering expertise with a strong focus on leveraging modern AI tools to accelerate delivery and improve quality.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and build scalable, innovative software solutions for government and enterprise clients.
• Define and enforce standards for prompt engineering, AI‑assisted code generation, automated testing, and intelligent documentation.
• Integrate AI copilots and human‑in‑the‑loop systems across the software development lifecycle.
• Collaborate with clients to uncover needs, translate business objectives into technical strategies, and guide stakeholder discussions.
• Lead the adoption of AI‑native workflows that increase engineering velocity and product quality.

Required profile

• Senior‑level engineer with a proven track record of shipping complex products.
• Experience embedding AI tools into real‑world delivery pipelines under pressure.
• Strong client‑facing skills, able to lead conversations and align technical solutions with business goals.
• Bias toward experimentation, rapid delivery, and continuous learning.
