Logistics Engineer – Low Voltage

About the role

The Logistics Engineer – Low Voltage will coordinate logistics, expediting and purchasing activities to guarantee timely availability of materials, equipment and project requirements. You will work closely with suppliers, freight forwarders and internal teams to minimise delays and ensure smooth project execution.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate local and international transportation of materials, equipment and finished products, arranging shipments with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers and transport service providers.
• Monitor shipment status, manage customs‑clearance documentation and resolve any delivery discrepancies.
• Expedite purchase orders by following up with suppliers on production progress, inspection readiness and committed delivery dates.
• Identify potential delays for critical or long‑lead items and coordinate recovery actions with relevant stakeholders.
• Process purchase requirements in line with specifications, budgets and company procedures, request and evaluate supplier quotations, and issue purchase orders.
• Support supplier negotiations to achieve optimal cost, quality and delivery conditions.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Planning, Production, Projects, Quality, Finance and Warehouse teams to align material requirements and delivery priorities.
• Maintain accurate records of purchasing, expediting, shipment tracking and delivery, and update relevant systems and tracking tools.
