Loss Prevention Officer

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Loss Prevention Officer to patrol and protect our property in Amman. The role involves ensuring the safety of guests, employees and assets by monitoring security systems, responding to incidents and maintaining a secure environment.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol all areas of the property and assist guests with room access.
• Monitor CCTV, perimeter alarm, duress and fire life‑safety systems.
• Lock property entrances when required and conduct daily hazard inspections.
• Respond to accidents, provide first aid/CPR, contact EMS and assist during emergencies.
• Defuse guest or employee disturbances and call for outside assistance when needed.
• Complete incident reports, shift summaries and maintain confidentiality of all security documentation.
• Investigate incidents, gather evidence and conduct interviews with relevant parties.
• Escort unwelcome persons, report vehicle accidents or thefts and follow proper code responses.

Required profile

• Ability to stand, sit or walk for extended periods and lift objects up to 50 lb unassisted (75 lb with assistance).
• Clear communication skills and professional appearance.
• Willingness to follow company policies, complete safety training and maintain confidentiality.
• Capability to read small print, verify information visually and use computers or point‑of‑sale systems.
