Loss Prevention Officer

About the role

The Loss Prevention Officer is responsible for safeguarding the property, guests, and employees by monitoring security systems, responding to incidents, and ensuring a safe environment. This full‑time position works on‑site at a hospitality venue in Amman.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol all areas of the property and assist guests with room access.
• Monitor CCTV, perimeter alarm, duress alarms, and fire life‑safety systems.
• Lock property entrances when required and conduct daily hazard inspections.
• Respond to accidents, provide first aid/CPR, and contact emergency services as needed.
• Defuse disturbances, escort unwelcome persons, and handle complaints.
• Complete incident reports, shift summaries, and maintain confidentiality of all security documentation.
• Conduct investigations, gather evidence, and interview relevant parties.
• Support guests, including individuals with disabilities, and uphold company service standards.

Required profile

• Ability to stand, sit, walk, run, or jog for extended periods.
• Physical capacity to lift up to 50 lb unaided and heavier items with assistance.
• Clear, professional communication skills.
• Willingness to follow company policies, safety training, and confidentiality requirements.
