Maintenance Officer

About the role

The Maintenance Officer will support the smooth operation of production lines by troubleshooting equipment, coordinating maintenance activities, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards. This full‑time position works closely with the factory maintenance lead and OEM partners to keep the plant running efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Resolve machine issues and ensure continuous production line operation.
• Analyze breakdowns and process failures, recommending improvements while considering budget constraints.
• Participate in Daily Direction Setting (DDS) meetings and execute the daily maintenance plan.
• Maintain adherence to scheduled maintenance and coordinate with OEMs when needed.
• Collaborate with the Factory Maintenance Lead to prioritize and schedule maintenance work.
• Support IE DMS compliance with guards, interlocks, safety maps, and EHS standards.
• Contribute to the IWS agenda in Jordan by owning a DMS and training shop‑floor teams.
• Assist in developing the annual maintenance plan by providing line insights.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 0‑3 years of relevant experience in industrial maintenance.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to coach and train colleagues.
• High personal responsibility and accountability for results.

Required skills

• Advanced understanding of electrical processes.
• Good knowledge of mechanical processes.
• Familiarity with storeroom operating strategies.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
