Marketing Trainee – Amman, Jordan

About the role

The Marketing Trainee will support the Public Relations team in Amman by helping to plan and execute communication initiatives that strengthen the organisation’s brand. This position offers hands‑on experience in media relations, content creation, event coordination and internal communications.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and proofread press releases, announcements, speeches and official statements.
• Monitor local and international media coverage and compile media monitoring reports.
• Maintain and update media and stakeholder contact lists.
• Assist in planning and executing corporate events, conferences and official visits.
• Prepare media kits, briefing documents and event materials.
• Create internal communications such as employee announcements, newsletters and corporate updates.
• Support the development of communication materials for executive management.
• Help produce presentations and other communication collateral.
• Ensure consistency of messaging and brand voice across all channels.
• Write social media copy for LinkedIn, Facebook, X and Instagram and coordinate with the design team for timely content delivery.
• Manage content calendar and schedule posts.
• Research industry trends to generate engaging content ideas.
• Organise and maintain the communications archive, including photos, press coverage and marketing assets.
• Track communication requests and follow up with internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate with external agencies, media representatives and partners.
• Assist in preparing reports and documenting campaign performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in public relations, marketing or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in Arabic and English.
