Massage Therapist – Full‑Time Spa Position

About the role

Join Marriott International’s spa team in Amman as a Massage Therapist. You will deliver professional massage and body treatment services to guests, ensuring a safe, comfortable, and memorable experience.

Key responsibilities

• Provide a range of massage services using appropriate props and products.
• Perform body treatments such as scrubs, wraps, and hydrotherapy.
• Assess guest needs and contraindications (e.g., allergies, high blood pressure, pregnancy) before each session.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation and sterilize tools according to Marriott standards.
• Promote and sell spa services and retail products.
• Escort guests to and from treatment rooms and monitor their comfort throughout the service.
• Handle inappropriate guest behavior following Marriott SOPs.
• Report accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions to management.

Required profile

• Technical, trade or vocational school degree related to massage therapy.
• At least 1 year of relevant work experience.
• Current state or regional massage license as required by local regulations.
• No supervisory experience required.

Required skills

• Massage therapy techniques.
• Body treatment methods (scrubs, wraps, hydrotherapy).
• Knowledge of contraindications and guest assessment.
• Sanitation and sterilization procedures for spa equipment.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 10 lb for extended periods.
