Mechanical Site Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Mechanical Site Engineer to join our Amman office and lead the mechanical works on construction projects. The role involves on‑site supervision of HVAC, plumbing, fire‑fighting and related systems, ensuring they are installed, tested and commissioned to the required standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review and interpret design drawings, specifications and project documents.
• Coordinate mechanical activities with civil and structural engineers and contractors.
• Monitor contractor performance, conduct site inspections and enforce safety and quality standards.
• Prepare technical reports, support quality‑control procedures and resolve on‑site engineering issues.
• Communicate progress and challenges to project managers, site supervisors and clients.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven experience supervising mechanical works in construction projects.
• Strong understanding of the interface between mechanical and structural systems.
• Ability to work on‑site under varying conditions and meet project deadlines.

Required skills

• HVAC system installation and commissioning.
• Plumbing and fire‑fighting system installation.
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings (AutoCAD or similar).
• Knowledge of mechanical codes, standards and local construction regulations.
• Quality‑control inspection and documentation.
