MEP Estimator – HVAC & Plumbing Takeoff (Remote from Jordan)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced MEP Estimator to join a leading mechanical contractor in Chicago. The position is fully remote from Jordan, working US Central hours, and focuses on HVAC and plumbing takeoffs for live American projects.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret mechanical drawings and specifications to produce accurate, priced takeoffs.
• Perform duct and pipe takeoffs, including all accessories.
• Estimate plumbing rough‑in, fixtures, material and labour costs.
• Conduct sanity checks to ensure bid accuracy before submission.
• Integrate estimates into the pre‑construction process and real tender packages.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience in MEP estimation, quantity surveying or tendering for mechanical scopes.
• Ability to work independently on drawing sets without supervision.
• Proficiency with takeoff software and advanced Excel skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Strong English communication skills for calls with American project teams.
