Merchandiser Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for a Merchandiser Supervisor to lead a team of merchandisers, ensuring efficient resource utilisation and high in‑store visibility for our brands. The role focuses on planning, training, performance management and maintaining service level agreements with stores.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enforce a journey plan for merchandisers to meet coverage targets and optimise resource use.
• Coordinate leave schedules, replacements and any additional event resources to avoid overlap.
• Deliver classroom and on‑the‑job training, covering brand knowledge, communication, negotiation and team management.
• Provide daily coaching, feedback and performance reviews, aiming for at least one feedback per merchandiser per day.
• Establish and monitor store service level agreements, tracking compliance and reporting discrepancies.
• Ensure execution of corporate and store‑specific agreements, covering on‑shelf, off‑shelf and multi‑location merchandising.
• Compile monthly competitor activity reports, including new launches, displays, promotions, pricing and planogram changes.

Required profile

• Academic background in Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in sales or merchandising, with a focus on managing teams.
