MHPSS Data and Evidence for Decision-Making Consultant

About the role

The Global Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) Leadership Team seeks a consultant to strengthen the generation, communication, and use of mental health data and evidence. Working remotely, you will help guide decision‑making at community, national, and global levels to improve child and adolescent mental health systems.

Key responsibilities

• Develop operational models, guidance, and tools for data‑driven decision‑making.
• Facilitate stakeholder consultations, focus group discussions and scoping reviews.
• Document country experiences, case studies and lessons learned.
• Produce deliverables tied to a 12‑month work plan, including reports and toolkits.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Psychology, Mental Health, Data Science, Public Health or related field.
• Proven expertise in mental health data and evidence use.
• Experience working with diverse stakeholders to inform programme or policy advocacy.
• Fluency in English.
• Experience conducting scoping reviews, research and focus group discussions.
• Desirable: experience developing toolkits or simulations for data‑driven decisions.
