Mid-Level DevOps Engineer – 4‑Month Remote Contract

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Mid‑Level DevOps Engineer to join a Saudi‑based client on a remote basis. The role focuses on building reliable CI/CD pipelines, improving operational stability and supporting development, test and production environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines covering build, test, deployment and release checks.
• Support development, test and production environments, handling configuration and access management in line with security policies.
• Document release, rollback and recovery procedures and ensure deployments are repeatable.
• Improve monitoring, logging and alerting to quickly identify performance and stability issues.
• Investigate deployment failures, coordinate fixes with developers and record root‑cause analyses.
• Prepare pipeline and configuration documentation, runbooks and knowledge‑transfer material for sustainable operations.

Required profile

• 3–7 years of DevOps, platform or software operations experience.
• Hands‑on experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and troubleshooting production releases.
• Strong knowledge of source control, scripting and configuration management.
• Understanding of credentials, secrets management and deployment permissions.
• Ability to implement monitoring and logging, distinguish application vs. environment issues and document operational procedures.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering or equivalent.
