Mid-Level Quality Assurance Engineer – Banking Domain

About the role

We are looking for a Mid-Level Quality Assurance Engineer to join our banking technology team. The candidate will ensure the reliability and quality of core and digital banking applications through both manual and automated testing.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse business and functional requirements to define testing scope.
• Create and execute test scenarios, cases and plans for functional, integration, regression, API, SIT and UAT testing.
• Perform testing of core banking, digital banking, mobile banking, payment systems and third‑party integrations.
• Identify, document and track defects using JIRA and verify fixes.
• Execute API tests with Postman or SoapUI and validate data with SQL queries.
• Support and maintain automated test suites, contributing to increased automation coverage.
• Prepare status reports, defect summaries and communicate progress to stakeholders.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of QA experience, preferably in banking or financial systems.
• Hands‑on experience with both manual testing and test automation.
• Familiarity with Agile or Waterfall development cycles.
