About the role

The Multi-Property Purchasing Agent supports Marriott hotels in Amman by managing food inventory, processing orders and ensuring accurate invoicing. This role is essential for maintaining cost‑effective supply chains while upholding food safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Calculate figures for food inventories, orders and costs.
• Maintain clear, organized records of reports and invoices.
• Post invoices using computer programs and reconcile shipping invoices with receiving reports.
• Conduct inventory audits, complete requisition forms and notify supervisors of low stock levels.
• Verify and track received inventory, generate inventory reports and logs.
• Receive, unload and process deliveries, refusing damaged or incorrect items.
• Troubleshoot vendor delivery issues and oversee the return process.
• Adhere to food safety and handling policies across all food‑related areas.
• Monitor PAR levels for all food items to ensure proper stock.
• Report accidents, injuries and unsafe conditions; complete required safety training.
• Follow company policies, maintain professional appearance and protect confidential information.
• Communicate clearly with colleagues, answer phones courteously and support team goals.
• Perform physical duties such as lifting objects up to 50 lb and moving through various work environments.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least one year of related experience in food inventory, purchasing or a similar field.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No specific license or certification required.
