Operations Engineer – Amman Site

About the role

Tagaddod is seeking an Operations Engineer to lead installations, refurbishments and quality control at its Amman site. The role blends engineering oversight with warehouse and maintenance management, supporting the company’s waste collection technology operations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise all installations and refurbishments at the Amman site.
• Brief and lead warehouse operators daily, reporting stock levels and issues to the site director.
• Maintain health, safety, hygiene and security standards in the work environment.
• Examine and test raw materials and supplies against acceptance criteria.
• Keep stock control systems up‑to‑date and ensure accurate inventories.
• Oversee planned maintenance of vehicles, machinery and equipment.
• Supervise warehouse operators and external contractors.
• Coordinate the use of automated and digital systems where necessary.
• Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Engineering degree (Chemical, Petroleum or Mechanical).
• Strong leadership, verbal and written communication abilities.
• Analytical, critical thinking and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work both tactically and strategically as a team player.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
