Order Handling Specialist

About the role

You will provide customer support—including technical, order and payment assistance—to achieve high service quality, operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. You will implement the customer support strategy, monitor performance and drive improvements throughout the sales process.

Key responsibilities

• Processing orders by coordinating with sales, product marketing, logistics and other internal teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery.
• Supporting pre‑sales and after‑sales service by resolving customer issues and communicating effectively using commercial communication tools.
• Managing the full value chain from order booking to final receipt of payment, including order entry in SAP and monitoring cost targets.
• Maintaining proactive customer communication regarding order acknowledgments, delivery schedules and freight arrangements.
• Owning factory correspondence, verifying packing lists, tracking goods receipts and handling warranty orders in SAP.
• Supporting the Business Controller during month‑end closing and revenue forecasting.

Required profile

• Fluency in English (written and spoken) for professional communication.
• 1‑5 years of experience in order handling, logistics or order management within a local market.
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, industrial engineering, supply chain or a related field.
• Strong understanding of commercial terms, INCOTERMS and VAT regulations.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP or other ERP systems.
• Experience with order processing tools such as Basware, BOL, OMS, CSCOT or POL.
• Knowledge of letters of credit, performance bank guarantees and advance bank guarantees.
