Packaging Technician

About the role

The Packaging Technician will perform packaging operations for pharmaceutical products, ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). The role supports the production team to deliver products that meet company specifications while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor packaging lines according to approved work instructions and SOPs.
• Prepare packaging materials and verify compliance with production orders.
• Perform packaging activities following approved specifications and procedures.
• Conduct visual inspection of products during packaging and segregate non‑conforming items.
• Verify correct packaging materials are used and report discrepancies or shortages.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area in line with GMP requirements.
• Adhere to health and safety procedures and wear required PPE.
• Report equipment malfunctions, process deviations, or abnormalities to the supervisor promptly.
• Complete production records and documentation accurately and timely.
• Collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, and Production teams to ensure smooth workflow.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a pharmaceutical, food, or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to work on a shift schedule.

Required skills
