Part-Time HR Officer

About the role

Best Friend Veterinary Clinic in Amman is seeking a part‑time Human Resources Officer to support its veterinary team and uphold a culture of ownership, accountability and motivation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage dynamic staff schedules to ensure optimal clinic coverage while balancing team well‑being.
• Facilitate the performance evaluation framework, tracking progress and focusing on coaching rather than punitive measures.
• Maintain accurate employee records, payroll data and applicant tracking using ZenHR and ZenATS.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for staff inquiries, reinforcing positive behaviours and mediating concerns.
• Support recruitment by screening candidates through ZenATS and ensuring seamless onboarding for new hires.

Required profile

• Proven experience in Human Resources, ideally within a healthcare, veterinary or clinical setting.
• Strong understanding of modern, motivation‑based performance management and employee retention strategies.
• Hands‑on experience with HRIS and applicant tracking software; direct experience with ZenHR and ZenATS is highly preferred.
• Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail, especially in scheduling and record‑keeping.
• Excellent communication skills to foster a positive, accountable, and transparent work environment.
