About the role
Amentum is seeking a Persian‑Farsi linguist to provide language support for U.S. military operations in Jordan. The role involves translation, interpretation, and cultural analysis to aid senior leadership and intelligence customers.
Key responsibilities
- Provide operational contract linguist support, including interpretation during interviews, meetings, and conferences.
- Transcribe, translate, and analyze verbal communications and foreign language documents for key information.
- Supply a variety of translation and interpretation services for Farsi.
Required profile
- U.S. citizen with an active Secret clearance.
- ILR Level 2 proficiency in Persian‑Farsi and English (oral and written).
- Willingness to complete ESP, CI, language tests within 10 days and attend CI investigations.
- Ability to work 24/7 shifts, deploy with two weeks' notice, and hold a passport valid for at least two years.
- Medical clearance meeting MOD15 requirements.
