Photographer & Video Content Creator

About the role

A Jordan-based group, including the wedding-planning app WeddyJO and an interior design company, is looking for a full-time Photographer & Video Content Creator in Amman. The role owns the full visual production process, from idea to published content, covering social media, apps, websites and marketing campaigns. Working days are Saturday to Thursday.

Key responsibilities

• Develop creative ideas, write scenarios and scripts, build storyboards and shot lists, and plan each shoot and campaign.
• Capture high-quality images of couples, events, venues, interior design projects, furniture, products and partner offerings.
• Film reels, promotional videos, behind-the-scenes content, project walkthroughs and event highlights.
• Edit and retouch photos with consistent colour grading, and edit and montage videos with cuts, transitions, colour grading, sound design, music, subtitles and basic motion graphics.
• Handle scheduling, location scouting, lighting, composition and equipment, and coordinate with clients, couples, vendors and internal teams.
• Prepare final photo and video sets sized and formatted for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, websites and apps.
• Photograph and film completed interior design projects, before-and-after transformations and design details.
• Create polished visual portfolios for WeddyJO vendor partners and ensure content matches each brand's visual identity.
• Organize and manage a library of photos, videos and raw footage across all businesses.

Required profile

• Proven experience in photography and videography, ideally across weddings, events, interiors, real estate, products or lifestyle.
• Portfolio showing both photography and video work, including candid moments, portraits, spaces and edited reels or promotional videos.
• Ability to create creative concepts, write scenarios and scripts, and understand social media trends and short-form video formats.
• Good organization and time management, with bilingual Arabic and English (preferred).
• Flexibility to work some evenings and weekends for weddings and events.
• A degree or training in photography, film, visual arts or a related field is an advantage.

Required skills

• Technical skills with DSLR or mirrorless cameras, lenses, lighting, audio equipment and studio and on-location setups.
• Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop.
• Video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro or DaVinci Resolve.
• After Effects or similar motion graphics tools are a plus; drone photography or videography is a plus.
