Preschool Teacher – Early Childhood Educator

About the role

Cadence Education is seeking a passionate Preschool Teacher to join its classroom team. Under the guidance of the School Director and Lead Teacher, you will help create a safe, nurturing environment that supports each child’s physical, social, emotional, and developmental growth.

Key responsibilities

• Support a positive, inclusive classroom where children are treated with dignity and respect.
• Greet children and families daily, building welcoming professional relationships.
• Assist in recognizing and responding to individual developmental, behavioral, cultural, and learning needs, including following IEPs and behavior support plans.
• Help plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum and Cadence Signature Programs.
• Communicate professionally with families, coworkers, and leadership using Cadence‑approved tools.
• Follow safety and supervision policies, documenting and reporting accidents or incidents as required.
• Assist in managing, documenting, and escalating child behaviors in line with Cadence policies.

Required profile

• Experience in childcare, daycare, or early childhood education.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a lead teacher and school director.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe, licensed classroom environment.
• Strong communication skills with children, families, and staff.
