Principal Engineer

About the role

Jawaker is seeking an experienced Principal Engineer to provide technical leadership and shape the company’s technical vision. This full‑time position will guide engineering standards, mentor teams, and drive innovative solutions for our online gaming platform.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and maintain technical standards and best practices across the organization.
• Design, review, and implement technical solutions for new products and features.
• Lead and mentor engineering teams, offering technical guidance and coaching.
• Tackle complex problems and create innovative, scalable solutions.
• Collaborate with product management, design, and operations to ensure successful product delivery.
• Represent Jawaker at industry events and conferences.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of professional software development experience.
• At least 2 years in a leadership role providing technical direction.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
• Nice‑to‑have: experience with mobile development, data engineering, and analytics.
