Principal Structural Engineer - Jordanian National

About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled Principal Structural Engineer who is a Jordanian national to join our Building Projects Design Management Office in Amman. You will lead the structural design of complex building projects, ensuring safety, efficiency, and innovative solutions from concept through completion.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the structural design process for large‑scale building projects.
• Develop, review, and approve structural calculations, drawings, and specifications.
• Collaborate with architects, MEP engineers, and contractors to integrate multidisciplinary solutions.
• Ensure compliance with local and international building codes and standards.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
• Mentor junior engineers and support their professional growth.
• Conduct site visits to assess structural integrity and provide expert recommendations.
• Implement innovative structural solutions to improve performance and sustainability.
• Participate in client meetings and presentations to communicate design concepts and progress.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 9–12 years of experience in structural engineering, focused on building projects.
• Proven track record of delivering large‑scale construction projects.
• Strong leadership, project management, and communication abilities.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is highly desirable.

Required skills

• Proficiency with structural analysis software (SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD.Pro).
• Advanced skills in AutoCAD and BIM tools, especially Revit.
• In‑depth knowledge of local and international building codes and standards.
