Procurement Supervisor

About the role

Anabtawi Sweets is seeking an experienced Procurement Supervisor to lead the sourcing of raw materials for its confectionery production. The role ensures continuous availability of high‑quality ingredients at competitive prices while complying with food safety standards and company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute procurement strategies for raw materials used in confectionery manufacturing.
• Identify, evaluate, and qualify suppliers, ensuring they meet quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing to achieve cost‑effective purchasing.
• Monitor supplier performance, resolve issues, and maintain strong relationships.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and finance teams to align supply with demand forecasts.
• Conduct cost analyses and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of procurement experience, preferably in the FMCG food sector.
• Proven track record in supplier negotiation and relationship management.
• Strong analytical abilities and experience with cross‑functional coordination.
