Product Analyst

About the role

PayOne is seeking a Product Analyst to lead discovery, shape product strategy, and drive the delivery of payment solutions. You will operate in a fast‑moving environment, making decisions with limited information and iterating as you learn.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with acquiring banks and financial institution partners to manage integration requirements, align timelines, and handle ongoing dependencies.
• Own end‑to‑end merchant integrations, translating business needs into precise technical and functional specifications and ensuring successful go‑live.
• Coordinate with payment scheme networks (Visa, Mastercard, etc.) on rule changes, mandate timelines, and new program rollouts to keep products compliant and competitive.
• Partner with engineering and design to prototype, test, and ship iteratively, writing clear requirements that enable rapid development.
• Align executives, commercial teams, compliance, and merchant services around product decisions, trade‑offs, and priorities.
• Define and track product metrics that reflect genuine business and customer outcomes, using data to inform next steps.
• Conduct regular discovery sessions with merchants, partners, and internal stakeholders to turn signals into validated opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or quantitative field.
• Hands‑on experience with payment products, understanding the full flow from authorization to settlement.
• Proven track record across the product lifecycle: discovery, definition, delivery, and iteration.
• Comfortable discussing APIs, integration trade‑offs, and system constraints directly with engineers.
• Thrives in ambiguous environments, structures problems, makes decisions, and moves forward without waiting for perfect clarity.
