Production and Planning Engineer

About the role

Abdin Industrial Company is seeking a Production and Planning Engineer to lead the creation and optimisation of master production schedules for its refrigeration and kitchen equipment lines. The role ensures efficient resource utilisation, on‑time delivery and smooth integration of new products into the shop‑floor.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain master production schedules based on sales forecasts, inventory levels and plant capacity.
• Analyse workload, balance production demands with machinery, labour and material availability, and resolve bottlenecks.
• Coordinate with sales, marketing, supply‑chain and R&D to forecast manufacturing needs and integrate new product launches.
• Oversee MRP/ERP systems to secure timely procurement while minimising excess inventory.
• Drive continuous‑improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma and Just‑In‑Time principles to reduce lead times and waste.
• Monitor KPIs such as schedule adherence and cycle times, reporting results to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in production planning, control or manufacturing.
• Strong analytical ability to work with production data, capacity and performance indicators.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills across multiple departments.
• Proven problem‑solving and organisational capabilities under pressure.
