Production Technician – Tissue Manufacturing

About the role

A paper tissue manufacturing company based in Amman, Jordan, is seeking a qualified and experienced Production Technician to join the team and support tissue production and packaging operations.

Key responsibilities

• Install, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain tissue production and packaging machinery.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure smooth machine operation.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical and technical issues efficiently.
• Monitor machine performance and identify potential problems before they affect production.
• Assist with machine setup, adjustments, and changeovers.
• Ensure machines operate safely and according to production requirements.
• Work closely with the production team to minimize downtime and maintain efficient operations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in the installation, operation, and maintenance of industrial machinery.
• Previous experience with tissue production and packaging machines, especially paper tissues and kitchen rolls.
• Strong mechanical and technical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and solve technical problems efficiently.
• Good understanding of machine maintenance and production processes.
• Prior experience in a tissue or paper manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
