Program Manager – Digital Healthcare

About the role

The Program Manager will lead the delivery of large‑scale, complex initiatives within a digital healthcare portfolio. Reporting to senior leadership, the role owns the full program lifecycle from initiation to closure, ensuring alignment with clinical, operational and business objectives. The position requires deep knowledge of healthcare workflows, IT systems and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and governance for a portfolio of digital healthcare projects, aligning them with organizational goals.
• Plan, execute, monitor and close complex programs, translating strategic initiatives into detailed, resourced project plans.
• Act as primary liaison for internal teams, partners and vendors; evaluate vendors, develop RFPs and validate commercial proposals.
• Standardize project management processes, tools and templates across the portfolio and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and quality standards.
• Mentor and develop project managers and coordinators, building capability within the PMO.
• Manage program finances, including budgeting, forecasting and financial tracking.
• Identify, assess and mitigate risks and issues, ensuring timely escalation and resolution.
• Oversee procurement activities from sourcing through contract execution and monitor timelines to meet milestones.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of healthcare workflows, clinical and operational processes.
• Proven experience leading cross‑functional, multi‑disciplinary projects in complex healthcare environments.
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations, quality standards and change management practices.
• Excellent stakeholder and vendor management abilities, with experience in RFP development and vendor selection.
• Demonstrated capability to translate strategic direction into structured, well‑governed delivery plans.
