Program Manager II – Jordan

About the role

The Program Manager II will lead Catholic Relief Services (CRS) programming in Jordan, overseeing the design, implementation, and close‑out of projects while ensuring alignment with CRS quality standards and donor requirements. The role also supports regional coordination and may provide back‑stop support for CRS activities in the broader JWBG region.

Key responsibilities

• Provide management, guidance, and technical oversight for all CRS projects in Jordan throughout the project cycle.
• Oversee partnership development with Cartias Jordan and ensure effective application of partnership tools.
• Support talent management, staff well‑being, coaching, and development planning for project teams.
• Cultivate donor relationships, lead proposal development, and contribute to budgeting and staffing plans.
• Lead program learning initiatives, research, and knowledge‑management activities.
• Ensure compliance with safeguarding policies and financial stewardship of project resources.
• Provide occasional programming leadership coverage for JWBG, including in Gaza when needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in International Development, International Relations, or a related field.
• Relevant experience managing humanitarian or development programs, preferably in the Middle East.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage partnerships, and engage donors.
• Strong understanding of CRS quality principles, donor guidelines, and MEAL practices.
