Project Development and Reporting Officer

About the role

The Project Development and Reporting Officer supports the Country Office in designing, developing and reporting on migration‑related programmes and projects. Working under the Chief of Mission and the Head of Programmes, the officer ensures that project concepts, proposals and donor reports are aligned with IOM’s strategic objectives and meet the expectations of partners and donors.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of results‑based programmes, concept notes and project proposals in coordination with the CoM, HOP and Project Managers.
• Prepare and submit donor and institutional reports, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and compliance with reporting guidelines.
• Facilitate coordination and liaison with government authorities, UN agencies and other stakeholders to advance project implementation.
• Support emergency response initiatives by providing project development and reporting expertise.
• Assist the Head of Programmes in monitoring project performance and preparing analytical briefs for senior management.

Required profile

• University degree in International Relations, Development Studies, Migration Management or a related field.
• Relevant experience in project development, donor reporting and coordination within a humanitarian or migration context.
• Familiarity with UN and IOM operational procedures and reporting standards.
• Strong analytical and writing skills in English.
