Project Lead – Façade Engineering (Middle East)

About the role

WSP is looking for a Project Lead / Project Manager to head façade engineering and design projects across the Middle East, based in Amman, Jordan. The role will work closely with multidisciplinary teams and clients to deliver high‑profile façade solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage façade engineering and design projects across the Middle East.
• Act as the primary technical and project interface with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Oversee façade system selection, design development, technical specifications, and design reviews.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to engineers and designers.
• Support business development activities, proposals, and client presentations.
• Ensure compliance with applicable international codes, standards, and industry best practices.
• Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and value engineering exercises.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline.
• 10‑15 years of experience in façade engineering, consulting, or project delivery.
• Proven experience managing complex façade projects through all stages.
• Strong understanding of façade materials, systems, performance requirements, and construction methodologies.
• Experience delivering large‑scale commercial, mixed‑use, hospitality, transportation, or landmark developments.
• Strong project management, stakeholder management, and client‑facing skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
