Project Manager – Hospitality Development

About the role

Jahangir is looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the planning and execution of hospitality development projects, including new restaurant and café concepts, branch openings, renovations, and expansions. The role covers the full project lifecycle from concept development through design, fit‑out, procurement, licensing, pre‑opening, and final handover.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare project timelines and cost estimates for new concepts, branch openings, renovations, and expansion projects, and monitor their execution.
• Supervise design, fit‑out, and equipment installation works in coordination with clients, engineering consultants, and contractors, ensuring compliance with approved designs, quality standards, and operational requirements.
• Manage suppliers and contracts, following up on the delivery of kitchen equipment, coffee equipment, furniture, and other project assets.
• Coordinate across Operations, Procurement, Human Resources, Marketing, IT, and Maintenance departments to ensure opening requirements are completed on schedule.
• Prepare periodic reports on project progress, costs, risks, and deviations, and submit them to senior management.
• Obtain the licenses and official approvals required for opening.
• Oversee the pre‑opening phase through to full handover of the branch to the Operations team.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in restaurants, cafés, hospitality, or retail sectors.
• Hands‑on experience managing new openings, renovations, or development projects from design to operational handover.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and project scheduling tools such as MS Project or similar.
• Practical experience managing contractors, suppliers, project costs, equipment procurement, and site execution.
• Strong negotiation, coordination, problem‑solving, and reporting skills.
• PMP certification or equivalent is considered an advantage.
