Project Manager – Water & Irrigation Projects

About the role

Hussein Atieh & Sons Co. (HAE) is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead water, irrigation network, and treated sewage effluent (TSE) projects across the MENA region. The role involves overseeing the full project lifecycle, ensuring delivery within scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage overall project execution from initiation to handover.
• Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
• Lead project staff, subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with contract terms, technical specifications, QA/QC, and HSE standards.
• Liaise with employers, engineers, government authorities, and other stakeholders.
• Prepare schedules, progress reports, and contractual documentation.
• Control project costs, variations, claims, and close‑out activities.
• Oversee testing, commissioning, and final handover of completed works.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience, including at least 10 years as a Project Manager on water, irrigation, or TSE projects.
• Proven track record of delivering infrastructure projects from start to finish.
• Fluency in English and Arabic (written and spoken).
