Proposal & Pursuit Specialist (Clients & Industries) - Jordan

About the role

EY is looking for a Deal Specialist to join its MENA Pursuits Excellence team, based in Pakistan, Lebanon or Jordan, within the Markets Enablement function. The role supports strategic, high-value pursuits across the MENA region and acts as the central driver of pursuit planning, coordination and execution, partnering with client-serving teams to deliver winning proposals and deal strategies. It applies the Gold Standard Pursuit Process (GSPP) principles.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end pursuit lifecycle from qualification to close, with timely, high-quality deliverables aligned to firm protocols.
• Drive and track pursuit project plans, timelines, workstreams, interdependencies and milestones.
• Facilitate pursuit strategy discussions and help craft differentiated win themes that meet client needs while protecting EY's interests.
• Develop client-facing content such as proposals, executive summaries and presentations with stakeholders.
• Plan and support oral preparation and strategic messaging for client meetings and final presentations.
• Build and manage pursuit infrastructure using MS Teams, trackers, calendars and status updates.
• Coordinate with creative services, insights professionals and other internal resources to raise proposal quality.
• Capture knowledge and lessons learned to improve pursuit best practices and tools.
• Use AI-enabled proposal development tools to drive innovation and efficiency.
• Keep the pursuit team aligned and build strong relationships with Service Line, Account and Business Development leaders, working closely with the Deal Leader on governance and leadership engagement.

Required profile

• Strong project management and organisational skills with high attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, able to write clearly and persuasively for clients.
• Deep understanding of pursuit and/or business development environments.
• Ability to influence teams constructively and work independently with multiple stakeholders.
• Comfortable in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
• Ideally: experience in proposal writing and communications in a professional services setting, familiarity with MENA business culture, and business-level Arabic (a plus).
