About the role

Connecting Research to Development is seeking experienced Public Health Officers to join its regional roster in Jordan. The role focuses on delivering high‑impact public health programs, conducting assessments, surveillance, and evaluations, and turning data into actionable insights quickly.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement public health programs and field assessments.
• Collect, manage, and analyse quantitative and qualitative health data.
• Produce rapid reports and findings to inform decision‑making.
• Support surveillance activities and evaluate program outcomes.
• Collaborate with project teams and contribute to AI‑enhanced workflow development.

Required profile

• 3–7 years of hands‑on experience in program delivery, assessments, surveillance, or evaluation.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into findings within days.
• Proactive, self‑directed professional who can identify gaps and raise critical questions.
• Commitment to delivering timely insights over delayed perfection.

Required skills

• Proficiency with digital data tools for health information management.
• Experience applying quantitative and qualitative research methods.
• Clear, structured writing for reports and documentation.
