QA Engineer – Manual & Automated Testing (Amman)

About the role

Equiti is looking for a detail‑oriented QA Engineer to join its Partnership & Loyalty department in Amman. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of fintech products through both manual and automated testing, supporting the delivery of high‑quality services to clients across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Perform manual regression, smoke, and exploratory testing.
• Monitor and follow up on release and bug lifecycles.
• Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
• Own product quality and support the team in delivering high‑quality services.
• Create, maintain, and monitor automated tests and daily test reports.
• Participate in code reviews and automation grooming sessions.
• Conduct load and performance testing for high‑load systems.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of software testing types, methodologies, and processes.
• Experience with JIRA, TestRail, and Azure DevOps (or similar platforms).
• Proficient with Git version control and SQL databases.
• 3+ years of advanced automation experience using JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Hands‑on experience with Playwright, Cypress or Selenium, Jest, and Axios.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and test automation within them.
• Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum or Kanban).
• Testing experience with REST APIs and messaging systems.
