QHSE Manager – Quality, Health, Safety & Environment

About the role

EFS Facilities Services seeks an experienced QHSE Manager to lead quality, health, safety and environmental compliance across its project operations in Jordan. You will shape a proactive safety culture, ensure regulatory adherence, and drive continuous improvement in high‑risk environments.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and monitor QHSE policies, procedures and operational controls aligned with legal, client and company requirements.
• Conduct risk assessments, hazard identification, job safety analyses (JSA) and define control measures.
• Lead incident reporting, root‑cause investigations, corrective and preventive actions.
• Perform regular QHSE audits, inspections and compliance reviews across all sites.
• Oversee environmental compliance, waste handling, pollution‑prevention and sustainability initiatives.
• Drive implementation and maintenance of ISO 9001, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems.
• Design and deliver QHSE training, toolbox talks, inductions and emergency drills.
• Monitor safety KPIs, incident trends and audit findings, providing actionable recommendations to management.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities, clients, contractors and internal stakeholders on QHSE matters.
• Lead, mentor and develop the QHSE team to ensure high performance and accountability.

Required profile

• 7–10 years of QHSE experience, preferably in waste management, facilities management, construction or industrial operations.
• Proven ability to manage risk, prevent incidents and conduct compliance audits.
• Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑engagement capabilities.
